>Smeilinener< the brainchild of artist Mischa Woeste shall be showcasing its existing collection this summer in the exhibition Fleet in Being (16.07-16.08) at >Create Berlin< showroom. Illustrating the crossover of design, fashion and art, the exhibition offers a one-off glimpse into the colourfiul fashion line, inviting the public to take a journey through the Smeilinener world. Smeilinener will also show the forthcoming collection at the >Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week< Berlin Spring/Summer 2009. The label has been esteemed with the 2006 Baltic Fashion Award For its “Sunny Side Up” collection, which was judged by the highly regarded fashion executive Wolfgang Ley from Escada. Since May 2007 the Smeilinener flagship store has reopened in Berlin, giving the public the opportunity to purchase the unique and timeless Smeilinener pieces, where the carefully handmade detailing and use of exotic fabrics give the label is stamp of individuality.
