INTERVIEW: CLIENT
05 June 2009

The "stylish-queens" of the sexy electro-wave - CLIENT - came back with a new exciting album. Produced by Joe Wilson (Sneaker Pimps) and Youth (Paul McCartney), "Command" sounds  elegant and acid at the same time, perfectly true to the "Client spirit" and it has already conquered the audience with the new electro-pop single "Can you feel" that is currently on the top of the indie and dance charts. Styles Report Berlin met Kate Holmes aka Client A (keyboards), Sarah Blackwood aka Client B (voice) before their performance at Lido in Berlin where they shared the stage with another electrifying feminine band, the Chicks on Speed duo.  An exciting career influenced by Joy Division, Throbbing Gristle, DAF and The Smiths started in 2002 as supporters of Depeche Mode for the Exciter tour and numerous and prestigious the collaborations (Pete Doherty, Carl Barat, Madonna, The Charlatans) but today the Client are looking for something that goes beyond music and seems to look at a contamination with the fashion world. They've just launched a collection based on their typical soviet hostess uniforms and east-European secretary dresses that they usually design and wear on the stage. The website www.clientlondon.com will be available on line very soon.
