The winners of the DMY Awards 2009 are determined! On friday night >DMY< Design Festival Berlin together with the Bauhaus-Archiv/Museum für Gestaltung bestowed for the first time the DMY Awards for the best works among all exhibits of the festival. The Awards were given to >mischer`traxler< (Vienna/Austria), the >Sandberg Institute< - Applied Art department (Amsterdam/Netherlands) and >Walking-Chair Design Studio< LYNfabbriken (Vienna/Austria, Aarhus/Denmark). The directors of DMY and of the Bauhaus-Archiv, Joerg Suehrmann and Dr. Annemarie Jaeggi handed out the prices at the Berlin club WMF.  Our compliments to the young designers for their courage to face the contemporary challenges with great keen to experiment!
