influxUS/INfluxus
04 September 2009

The eccentric exhibitions at >DADA POST< titled "InFluxus/Influxus" and "Wandering Buoy", will both include an international array of artists such as Monika Brandmeier, Redas Dirzys Gregory Coates, Tom Holmes, Piotr Lutynski, Roland Stratman and Martin Zet, who will explore contemporary interpretations of The Dada and Fluxus movements. These installations were both inspired within and outside the frame of artistic discourse and interfaced within the larger context of human activity. The traditional notion that anything can be a work of art or incorporated into one sparked the creation of Influxus/Influxus and respectfully resides in the realm of Art for Art's sake and allows it to examine the evolved practices associated with the Neo-Dada/Fluxus legacies in particular – through both Western and Eastern European examples. Dada Post is located in the Berlin-Reinickendorf district and will host InFluxus/Influxus from September 5th to October 10th, and Wanderboje until September 12th.
