FLASHIPSTORE FASHION CONTEST
20 March 2010

The ladies, Beata Schulte-Wrede and Johanna van de Haak, wo run the >Flagshipstore< in Berlins Prenzlauerberg were so overwhelmed by the amount of young designers who wanted to sell their collections there, that they organised a fashion contest.  This contest posed as a great opportunity for many desginers, as it would be the first time their collections would be available to the public.  The concept of the store was designed especially, so that the desginers could have as much creative freedom as possible. After a long and tedious decision making process the proud owners of the flagshipstore named the three winners.  First place was awarded to Linn Annen from Hamburg, whos collection 'the world is my castle' cleverly combines art and fashion, her collection will be displayed in the shop window for 4 weeks as of the 21st of March and be available to buy for atleast 6 months both in store and online.  The second place was awarded to Vivienne Jasker, whos designs reflect the spirit of Berlin.  Her collections, berlin spots and sumorabbit will be available instore and online for three months.  The third place was given to the austrian duo Meshit. Their funky but trendy designs will also be available to buy as of the 21st of March.  The Flagshipstore is throwing a vernissage in honour of the three finalists on the 21st of March starting at 12noon and would like to invite everyone to come along to celebrate and shop in Oderberger Straße, 53.
